Job summary

AWD online is seeking an on-site IT Support Technician to provide diverse helpdesk support in a busy manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers and mobile devices while ensuring Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 applications run smoothly.

You’ll work with a friendly IT team, have funded learning opportunities, and enjoy a flexi scheme plus an additional day off for the annual Fun Day. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Mobberley.

Qualifications

• Curious and good at figuring out problems.
• Comfortable with computers, hardware and Microsoft 365.
• Able to explain technology without lots of jargon.
• Organised and able to keep calm when things get busy.

Responsibilities

• Colleague IT Support: Help colleagues with everyday IT problems.
• Device Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers and mobile devices.
• Windows and Microsoft 365 Support: Support Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, Outlook, OneDrive and SharePoint.
• On-Site Issue Resolution: Move around the site to resolve IT issues.
• Technology Enablement: Help people get more from the technology they use.
• IT Improvements: Get involved in IT improvements and new technology.
• Team Collaboration: Work with the wider IT team to improve support and outcomes.
