Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a site-based Desktop Support Engineer in Guildford. The role involves on-site installation, servicing, and repair of systems, plus interaction with customers to resolve issues and coordinate with project teams.

The position requires SC Security Clearance and offers access to training, accreditation, and a comprehensive benefits package. Primary site is Guildford with potential support at nearby sites such as Frimley; hours are Monday–Friday with shift coverage.

Qualifications

• SC Security Clearance required.
• Experience with on-site hardware and software support.
• Experience with service ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site field support to customers including installation, servicing and repair of systems and equipment.
• Carry out Security Audits of devices and report findings.
• Manage asset and stock lifecycle including loan user equipment.
• Act as central point of contact for customer inquiries and project-related issues.
• Assist in applying engineering principles to system design and modeling.
