Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a site-based engineer to provide on-site support at Guildford with occasional duties at nearby Frimley. The role requires eligibility for UK government security clearances and the right to work in the UK.

You will install, service, repair systems and communicate with customers on technical matters. The position is full-time, 37.5 hours weekly, with a strong benefits package and opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

SC Security Clearance required.
Experience with the company's hardware, software and equipment products.
Experience with customer technology and support requirements.
Experience with process and/or system design concepts.
Experience with programming languages, operating systems and software.
Experience with engineering principles and practices.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site field support to customers including installation, servicing and repairing of systems and equipment.
Answer customer questions and resolve issues.
Refer issues to appropriate personnel for follow up, testing and troubleshooting.
Liaise with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
Perform analyses and prepare reports on system problem trends.
