Job summary

DP World is seeking a Field Service Technician at our Minworth facility in Birmingham. You will provide first-line IT hardware support for site and customer equipment, and deliver desktop application assistance across the operation.

The role involves a rotational shift pattern and requires building strong relationships with internal teams and third‑party partners. You will maintain asset records, support BI tools and dashboards, and contribute to root cause analyses and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Solid IT fundamentals gained through college-level study or relevant experience.
• Proficient with common desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience supporting desktops, laptops, and peripherals including driver installs.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT hardware support for site and customer equipment.
• Deliver desktop application support including installation and configuration.
• Configure and manage production system data and BI-related inputs/outputs.
• Handle IT tickets daily and maintain accurate asset records.
• Create user documentation and training materials for end users.
