Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Site-based Engineer to provide on-site field support at a secure Warton site, with occasional duties at nearby sites such as Samlesbury and Preston. The role requires SC security clearance and eligibility to work in the UK.

You will install, service and repair systems, communicate with customers, analyse issues, and contribute to design and programming aspects. A strong emphasis on stock control and risk reporting is included.

Qualifications

• SC Security Clearance is required.
• Experience with hardware, software and equipment products.
• Experience delivering customer technology and support solutions.
• Understanding of engineering principles and system design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site field support including installation, servicing and repair of systems and equipment.
• Answers customer questions and resolves issues; escalates where needed.
• Acts as liaison with the customer on admin and technical matters for projects.
• Performs analyses and prepares reports on system problems and trends.
• Assists in applying engineering principles to design, processes and models.
• Supports on-site engineers at multiple sites and manages stock and assets.
