Job summary

Rubix UK is hiring a Stock & Replenishment Supervisor (Assistant Insite Manager) for a long-established customer site in Hull. You will manage sales enquiries, input orders, and deputise for the Insite Manager when needed, while maintaining accurate customer data and handling related queries.

The role involves stock control, quotes, and liaison with suppliers to optimise availability and pricing. SAP/ERP exposure and MS Office proficiency are preferred; a proactive team player is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments in operational or commercial roles.
• Background in industrial B2B selling or procurement/buying is advantageous.
• Knowledge not essential but helpful of Rubix products and services.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales enquiries and orders and input onto the system.
• Deputise for the Insite Manager in their absence.
• Maintain customer information within Rubix and Customer systems.
• Manage work orders from engineering.
• Handle stock availability, pricing, back orders, and delivery queries.
• Prepare and follow up relevant quotes.
• Build and develop relationships with customers to maximise orders.
• Communicate with suppliers on stock, prices and delivery issues.
• General inventory management and stores responsibility.
• Prepare customer reports for meetings.
• Work with Microsoft Office packages.
• Experience with customer ERP systems preferred.
• SAP experience is preferred; training provided.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently or in a team.
