Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter for a major substation project in Lochgilphead. You will install, maintain and commission HV plant across 33kV–400kV and work on busbars, transformers, grounding and cabling on site.

The role requires hands-on installation experience, strong safety culture, and the ability to work with a site team to deliver high-quality results on a critical power infrastructure project.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and maintaining HV substation equipment.
• CPCS training or equivalent competency.
• Ability to work at heights and maintain high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Management to ensure on-time delivery of activities.
• Ensure equipment and materials reach site as needed and document progress.
• Ensure accurate reporting and data documentation within required time frames.
