Job summary

Powersystems is seeking an HV Substation Fitter for UK-site work with a Glasgow hub. You will install, test and commission high-voltage structures up to 132 kV and mentor apprentices to maintain safety and quality standards.

Experienced in HV switchgear installation and testing; a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel with overnight stays are required. Excellent benefits and strong career development opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on HV fitter experience.
• Experience installing, assembling and testing HV switchgear.
• Mentoring or guiding apprentices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble and test HV structures and equipment up to 132kV.
• Conduct inspections, ductor testing and quality checks.
• Lead and mentor less experienced fitters and apprentices.
• Support site activities within safe working practices.
• Represent Powersystems with professionalism and safety focus.
