Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the NHS Supply Chain contract in Bury St Edmunds. On-site, you will partner with managers to provide expert Employee Relations support, ensuring HR policies are applied consistently and compliantly while creating a positive employee experience.

You will manage ER cases, support absence management, and drive people-focused initiatives. Working with data to identify trends, you’ll help improve attendance, engagement and HR processes

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 3 qualified with experience in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills with good knowledge of Excel and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders and trade unions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied Employee Relations caseload including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and flexible working cases.
• Coach and support managers on HR policies, employment law and best-practice case management.
• Monitor absence trends and work with managers and Occupational Health to improve attendance and wellbeing.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, contract changes and wider HR administration activities.
• Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and continuous HR process improvements.
