Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Sherburn-in-Elmet is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide proactive, commercially focused HR support across a large shared-user operation.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you’ll coach managers, manage employee relations and lifecycle activities from onboarding to exit, while helping deliver the site People Plan and engagement initiatives. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Advisor or HR Generalist in fast-paced operational environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK Employment Law and ER processes.
• Proven ability to coach and influence managers and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR guidance to managers on ER, disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence matters.
• Coach and develop managers to handle people-related issues and promote best HR practice.
• Manage starters, leavers, probation reviews and onboarding processes.
• Support employee engagement, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR policies.
