Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join a busy project team on a flagship construction project. This fully site-based position will own the project's document control functions using Asite to ensure accurate and efficient information flow.

You will manage documentation, maintain registers and workflows, and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams to ensure compliance and timely responses.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Document Controller within the construction industry.
• Strong working knowledge of Asite.
• Experience working for a Main Contractor or Tier 1 Contractor is highly desirable.
• Excellent document management and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all project documentation using Asite.
• Upload, distribute, track, and archive drawings and technical documents.
• Maintain document registers, workflows, and revision controls.
• Ensure all project documentation is compliant with company and client procedures.
• Process incoming and outgoing correspondence.
• Monitor document status and ensure timely responses from project stakeholders.
• Support project teams with document retrieval and reporting.
• Coordinate the issue of drawings, specifications, RFIs, and technical submissions.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and client representatives regarding document requirements.
• Assist with site administration duties as required.
