Job summary

Our client is a family manufacturing company based near Pampisford, providing draught, weather, fire and acoustic seals since 1961. They operate a small, practical team and value clear customer communication, efficient scheduling and hands-on collaboration on-site.

The role focuses on coordinating between customers and the technical team, handling enquiries, arranging lab bookings and maintaining the testing schedule, with on-site working and training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong organisation and prioritisation with attention to detail.
• Confident, professional customer communication by telephone and email.
• Ability to coordinate schedules, information, actions and deadlines across several people.
• Good judgement about when to resolve an issue and when to escalate it.
• Accurate record-keeping and confidence using Microsoft 365 tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customers and technical team communications.
• Organise laboratory bookings and maintain testing/activity schedule.
• Support routine commercial administration and coordinating resources.
• Manage information flow and dependencies to prevent constraints.
• Follow through on customer commitments, deliverables and hand-offs.
• Identify schedule conflicts or delays and escalate early.
