Job summary

Wagstaff Recruitment & Careers Coaching is seeking a hands-on Project Coordinator to support a Project Manager on a live construction project in Bilsthorpe. This 6-month contract role focuses on practical coordination, documenting health and safety records, and ensuring site activity runs smoothly.

You will work closely with contractors, manage site documentation, and help with diary management and meetings. The position requires SMSTS/SSSTS, site supervision experience, and strong organisation.

Qualifications

• SMSTS or SSSTS qualification is essential.
• Experience in project coordination, site administration or similar support role.
• Practical site supervision experience.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage several tasks at once.
• Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Practical and approachable communication style with contractors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager with daily coordination of the construction project.
• Assist with health and safety activity on site.
• Coordinate contractors and site visitors.
• Complete daily project reports, toolbox talks and contractor inductions.
• Keep drawing registers and project documents organised and up to date.
• Update project management systems.
• Arrange site visits for employees and subcontractors.
• Support diary management and meeting coordination.
• Maintain accident and working-time statistics.
• Help with site logistics and statutory approval paperwork.
• Provide general administrative support as required.
