Carrington West is seeking an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator to lead all temporary works on major energy infrastructure projects. The role requires coordinating between site teams, designers and stakeholders to ensure safe planning, design, implementation and inspection of temporary works.
You will manage the Temporary Works Request System, ensure BS 5975 compliance, coordinate permits, and participate in look-ahead meetings.

Rate: £450-£500 per day (CIS) + Fuel costs paid (45p per mile)
Location: Mannington, Melksham, Chickerell (Predominantly site-based, with occasional office working)
Length of Contract: Initial 6 months

Our client is looking for an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator to join their construction team, supporting projects across the GSP region. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of all temporary works activities on large-scale industrial projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards while working on nationally significant infrastructure schemes.
As Temporary Works Coordinator, you will be the lead contact for all temporary works on site, coordinating between site teams, designers and project stakeholders to ensure the safe planning, design, implementation and inspection of temporary works. You'll be responsible for managing the Temporary Works Request System, ensuring compliance with BS 5975, coordinating temporary works permits, participating in look-ahead meetings and ensuring all inspections and approvals are completed in line with company procedures. The role is predominantly site-based in Andover, with occasional office working and travel across the GSP region.
