Job summary

2nd Line IT Service Desk Site Engineer role at Blenheim Schools, part of Outcomes First Group, based at a site in Huddersfield. You will provide expert technical support across Windows Server, cloud services, and device management, assisting colleagues and resolving complex issues onsite and remotely.

Key responsibilities include 2nd line incident resolution, access management, and contributing to IT projects.

Qualifications

Experience in a 2nd Line IT Support, Service Desk or IT Engineer role.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure AD and Google Workspace.
Experience supporting cloud technologies, hardware, software and user devices.
Understanding of networking technologies including Cisco Meraki, LAN/WAN and web filtering.
Knowledge of IT security, cyber security best practice and compliance.

Responsibilities

Resolve 2nd line IT incidents, service requests and technical issues.
Act as escalation point for Service Desk Engineers and support sites across the organisation.
Manage user accounts, permissions and access across directories and cloud services.
Support server, network, cloud, telephony and cyber security environments.
Configure and deploy laptops, tablets, mobile devices, printers and other hardware.
Manage devices through Intune and Jamf.
Investigate recurring issues, identify root causes and contribute to service improvements.
Assist with IT projects, technology rollouts and maintenance of documentation.
