Job summary

Premier Inn Oxford City Centre (Westgate) is seeking a Duty Manager to lead the hotel team across shifts, coordinating reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to ensure guests have a great stay. You’ll work on the floor, taking charge, supporting colleagues and solving issues to keep the hotel running smoothly.

This permanent role offers guaranteed hours, full training and real opportunities to progress within Whitbread’s Premier Inn brand.

Qualifications

• You’ve led people before in busy customer-facing environments.
• Transferable leadership experience welcome from retail, hospitality or service roles.
• Confident decision-maker who stays calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Jump in to support reception, housekeeping and restaurant as needed.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
