Job summary

Agincare seeks an Ofsted Registered Manager to lead a brand new not-for-profit Children’s Services Residential Home in York. You will guide and develop a team of Support Workers and Senior Support Workers, ensuring outstanding care and regulatory compliance in every shift.

With a focus on safeguarding, complex needs, and service development, you will shape best practice from day one and drive high-quality outcomes for children and young people in our care.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience in children's residential care, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, and relevant legislation in children's services.
• Experience planning and implementing care plans and maintaining documentation to a high standard in line with Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
• Experience supporting children and young people with learning disabilities who may display complex behaviours.
• Experience leading Ofsted home inspections.
