Vestas Wind Systems A/S in the United Kingdom is recruiting an Offshore Service Technician to maintain and repair 92 V236 15MW offshore wind turbines at the Norfolk Vanguard West project. You will join a team in a challenging offshore role, performing inspections, diagnostics and component replacements while upholding the company’s safety standards.

The position operates on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation, with integration into the Offshore Service department.

Qualifikationen

• You will have a proven history from a mechanical, electrical or hydraulics background within a similar industry.
• You must have proven problem solving and fault-finding skills.
• The ability to work at height and in adverse weather conditions.
• You must hold a full, clean driving licence.
• Previous accreditation as an AT/CT under WTSR would be advantageous.

Aufgaben

• You will be required to develop a detailed knowledge of our wind turbines to enable you to perform daily maintenance and other field service-related tasks
• Working to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that service targets are met, you will be part of a team of technicians working throughout the region
• Carry out periodic service inspections in accordance with Vestas's specifications
• Component replacement (both electrical and mechanical) and troubleshooting on the systems
