Job summary

Equinor is recruiting an HV Technician for offshore wind assets, based on a Service Operations Vessel. The role follows a 14-days-on/14-days-off rotation with 12-hour shifts, supporting Dudgeon, Sheringham Shoal, and related projects.

The candidate will work across electrical and mechanical disciplines, perform fault diagnosis, participate in safety initiatives, and mentor junior technicians as part of the operations team in the Greater Wash region.

Qualifications

• Qualified with relevant electrical/mechanical certifications and offshore safety training.
• Proven troubleshooting experience in HV electrical systems and wind turbine equipment.
• Experience with SAP and SCADA data for fault diagnosis and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply discipline expertise in fault codes and 3rd party fault reports.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety culture and training across teams.
• Mentor training for HV authorisation and across WTG types (3.6 & 6MW).
• Maintain equipment, inspect, service, and troubleshoot 3.6MW WTG.
• Record work in SAP, raise defects, and support vendor meetings.
