Job summary

RES in the United Kingdom is seeking an O&M Offshore Technician to deliver maintenance services to offshore wind assets and associated infrastructure. The role can be home based or site based and is a full-time position (40 hours per week).

You will work with offshore teams to perform inspections, planned and reactive maintenance, and risk assessments, ensuring safety and contractual compliance. Offshore work and on-call availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in multidiscipline teams.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, power electronics, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience in the wind industry.
• Offshore working experience.
• NVQ 3 or equivalent in mechanical/electrical engineering; full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver onshore and offshore operation and maintenance work.
• Inspect and maintain offshore assets; perform planned maintenance.
• Carry out reactive maintenance including offshore site visits.
• Produce Risk Assessments and Methods Statements.
• Comply with site safety rules and report issues.
• Collaborate with Offshore and UK&I O&M teams; support procedures and cost books.
