Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking an O&M Technical Support Engineer - Offshore Wind to join our Wind Operations & Maintenance team in Hexham, England. You will provide second-line technical support for offshore sites, focusing on Vestas platforms, and turn operational experience into practical guidance and robust documentation.

Qualifications

Second-line technical support for offshore wind sites.
Root-cause analysis and trend identification.
Documentation of guidance, alarms and troubleshooting steps.
Collaboration with OEMs, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Receive, assess and resolve offshore wind technical requests using ticketing systems and data.
Analyse recurring alarms and trends to improve reliability and maintainability.
Support remote troubleshooting using SCADA and maintenance history.
Create standardised technical solutions, alarm guides and work packages.
Coordinate with site operations, engineering and OEMs to provide input for decisions.
Contribute to future projects and improvement priorities based on lessons learned.
Share knowledge to improve team processes and documentation.
