Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking an O&M Technical Support Engineer for offshore wind to provide second-line expert support to offshore sites and focus on Vestas platforms (V80, V90, V112). You will analyse alarms and failure patterns, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive reliable asset performance.

The role involves using SCADA and technical documentation, with occasional travel to sites. Office-based with travel to Vattenfall locations as needed, in a dynamic European wind portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience with Vestas wind turbine platforms (V80/V90/V112).
• 4–7 years in technical ops, maintenance, troubleshooting or engineering in wind energy or similar environment.
• Electrical, mechanical or related engineering background; hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive, assess and resolve technical requests from offshore wind sites using tickets and data.
• Analyze alarms, failure patterns and trends to improve reliability and maintainability.
• Support remote troubleshooting with SCADA, alarms, maintenance history and docs to guide sites.
