Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking an O&M Technical Support Engineer for offshore wind operations in London. You will provide specialist second-line technical support for offshore wind sites, focusing on Vestas platforms (V80/V90/V112) and using data-driven analysis to identify recurring issues.

You will be part of a central team handling technical requests across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, control-system, SCADA and alarm topics, enabling safer, more reliable asset performance across our offshore

Qualifications

• Wind turbine expertise and offshore operations experience.
• Ability to provide second-line technical support and analysis.
• Experience with root-cause analysis, trend identification and structured problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Receive, assess and resolve technical requests from offshore wind sites using ticketing systems and technical documentation.
• Analyse recurring alarms and failure patterns to identify platform issues and drive reliability improvements.
• Support remote troubleshooting with SCADA data, maintenance history and documentation to guide site teams.
• Create and maintain standardised technical solutions, alarm guides and troubleshooting instructions.
