Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking an O&M Technical Support Engineer for offshore wind. You will provide second-line technical support to offshore sites, focused on Vestas platforms (V80, V90, V112) and a mix of electrical, mechanical and control systems expertise.

The role involves diagnostics, data analysis and collaboration with cross-functional teams. We value experience in SCADA, CMMS tools and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in technical operations, maintenance, troubleshooting or engineering in wind energy or similar complex environment.
• Experience with Vestas turbine platforms (V80, V90, V112) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and control systems with fault-finding ability.
• Good English communication and ability to explain complex topics to diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Receive, assess and resolve technical requests from offshore wind sites using data and documentation.
• Analyse alarms, failure patterns and trends to identify platform issues and improvements.
• Support remote troubleshooting using SCADA, alarm data and maintenance history.
• Create standardised technical solutions, alarm guides and troubleshooting instructions.
• Collaborate with site operations, engineering, asset management and OEMs to ensure input is available for decisions.
• Provide technical input to future projects and improvement priorities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Technical Support processes and knowledge sharing.
