Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking an O&M Technical Support Engineer - Offshore Wind to provide second-line technical support for offshore wind sites, with a focus on Vestas platforms (V80, V90, V112). You will analyze recurring issues, guide remote troubleshooting and develop standardised solutions to improve reliability and availability.

The role involves collaboration across engineering, site operations and OEMs, with occasional travel to offshore or operational sites.

Qualifications

Experience with Vestas wind turbine platforms, preferably V80, V90 and/or V112.
4–7 years in technical operations, maintenance, troubleshooting or engineering in wind energy.
Technical background in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
Good understanding of wind turbine systems and fault finding.
Experience with technical documentation and tools like SCADA and CMMS.

Responsibilities

Receive, assess and resolve technical requests from offshore wind sites using tickets and data.
Analyze alarms, failure patterns and trends to identify platform issues and improvements.
Support remote troubleshooting using SCADA data and maintenance history.
Create and maintain standardised technical solutions and troubleshooting guides.
Collaborate with site operations, engineering and OEMs to provide input for decisions.
Contribute to continuous improvement of Technical Support processes and documentation.
