Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking an O&M Technical Support Engineer - Offshore Wind to provide specialist second-line technical support for offshore wind sites, focusing on Vestas platforms (V80/V90/V112). You’ll turn operational experience into reliable guidance and standardised solutions, helping maintain safe, cost-efficient asset performance.

Join a cross-functional team within BA Wind, collaborating with operations, engineering and suppliers across Europe.

Qualifications

Experience with Vestas wind turbine platforms (V80/V90/V112).
4–7 years in technical operations, maintenance or engineering in wind energy or similar.
Engineering background in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
Strong English communication and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

Receive, assess and resolve offshore wind site technical requests using tickets and data.
Analyse alarms, failure patterns and trends to improve reliability and maintainability.
Support remote troubleshooting via SCADA, alarms and maintenance history.
Create standardised technical solutions, guides and work packages.
Collaborate with site operations, engineering, asset management and OEMs.
Contribute input to future projects and improvement priorities.
Share knowledge and contribute to process improvements in Technical Support.
