Job summary

Vestas in Montrose (Inch Cape offshore wind farm) seeks an experienced offshore service professional to coordinate maintenance tasks, lead technicians and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. The role is based from the Port in Montrose, supporting 72 x V236 15MW turbines and offshore assignments with a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation.

You will work within the Service department to ensure efficient operations, scheduling, and collaboration with customers and internal teams in a challenging

Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical degree or apprenticeship completed.
• Offshore experience (electrical or mechanical).
• High voltage knowledge and switching experience if possible.
• Strong planning and coordination skills; able to lead.
• Good English, written and spoken; proficiency with MS Office, Excel and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and safety standards.
• Ensure technician readiness with tools, parts, documentation and permits.
• Manage permit-to-work processes and service orders; approve time registrations.
• Coordinate and execute planned offshore service and maintenance activities.
• Adjust daily work plans based on weather and turbine availability.
• Lead and support a team of technicians and subcontractors.
• Maintain operational performance and escalate issues as needed.
