Job summary

Inch Cape Offshore Limited is seeking a High Voltage Electrical Engineer to lead the technical integrity and safe operation of HV electrical systems for the Inch Cape Wind Farm. The role covers offshore and onshore HV interfaces, protection, switchgear, transformers, SCADA alarms, and safety documentation.

You will optimise maintenance strategies, support outages, and work within the O&M team to maximise turbine availability and asset value, based in Montrose with a hybrid office pattern (3 days

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering.
• Experience in offshore wind HV O&M.
• Authorisation under windfarm HV Safety Rules or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• HV Asset Integrity and Technical Assurance for HV equipment during operations.
• Provide technical oversight to HV safety rules, switching, and controls.
• Support outages, maintenance campaigns, and offshore interventions.
• Lead root-cause analyses for trips, faults, and alarm events.
• Contribute to asset management, risk reviews, and compliance with ISO 55001.
