Job summary

SSE is seeking an offshore Operations role based in Montrose, Scotland, with a rotational shift pattern aboard an offshore service operation vessel. The job focuses on safe, efficient operation of offshore assets and coordinated maintenance.

You will lead offshore teams, liaise with contractors and onshore control, and ensure adherence to SHE rules, environmental and regulatory standards. AP/AT progression is supported where applicable.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent technical qualification in electrical, mechanical, C&I or related engineering discipline.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role with responsibility for people and contractors.
• Experience with Operational Safety Rules/Safe Systems of Work; AP/AT authorisation desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate offshore operational and maintenance activities to deliver work safely and efficiently.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to offshore personnel and manage contractors.
• Ensure compliance with SHE, environmental, regulatory requirements and incident reporting.
