Job summary

Ocean Winds in Buckie is seeking Operations & Maintenance Technicians to support the Moray West Offshore Wind Farm. You will work with the Site O&M Manager, Supervisors and Maintenance Planner to carry out on-site O&M activities across civil/structural infrastructure and offshore assets.

The role includes supervising contractors, routine inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, and daily reporting of operational status.

Qualifications

• Fluent English both verbal and written.
• Hands-on, practical aptitude in relation to maintenance activities.
• Be based near Buckie area, ideally within 30 mins drive.

Responsibilities

• Supervise contractors as required.
• Support routine asset inspection activities.
• Close out snagging items.
• Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components.
• Repair paint and coatings.
• Prepare, pack and transport tools for maintenance.
• Report defects and performance issues.
• Support subcontractors in inspection and maintenance scopes.
• Oversee offshore assets maintenance by subcontractors.
