Job summary

ScottishPower Renewables in East Anglia One offshore wind farm is seeking an Electrical & Mechanical Technician to service, maintain and troubleshoot cranes, foundations and related electrical/mechanical systems offshore and onshore. The role involves working with HV teams, RAMS, and health and safety commitments.

You will have electrical qualifications, offshore wind experience preferred, and a proactive, safety-minded approach.

Qualifications

Electrical qualification or strong electrical background.
Experience in offshore wind environment desirable.
Experience maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment.
Ability to perform maintenance on cranes is desirable.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
Strong planning and organisational skills.
Good reporting and communication skills.
Flexible to adapt to changing work environment.
Committed to high safety standards and Safe System of Work.

Responsibilities

Service, maintain and troubleshoot 102 wind turbine cranes and foundations equipment.
Assist HV team and contractors with substations onshore and offshore tasks.
Fault finding and determine corrective actions; support retro-fit ideas.
Contribute to RAMS and site procedures; assist with permits to work.
Participate in minor projects and HV switching under supervision.
