Job summary

ScottishPower is hiring a Balance of Plant (BOP) Technician – Electrically biased to support daily operation and maintenance of East Anglia One windfarm assets, including offshore turbines and substations. The role involves electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical work across offshore/onshore sites, with a focus on safety and compliance.

You will service and troubleshoot cranes, foundations, generators and related equipment, participate in HV tasks under supervision, and help drive continuous

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification or strong background in electrical competence.
• Experience of working in an Offshore Wind Environment desirable but not essential.
• Experience of maintaining electrical/mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and troubleshoot the 102 Wind Turbine cranes and turbine foundation equipment.
• Assist in maintenance tasks on Onshore and Offshore substations aiding the HV team.
• Fault finding and corrective action planning with Engineering support.
• Assist with HV switching, isolation and earthing under SAP guidance.
• Support RAMS and site procedures and audits.
