Job summary

A renewable energy company is seeking an Operations and Maintenance Technician based in Buckie. Responsibilities include supervising contractors, performing mechanical and electrical maintenance, and supporting offshore activities. Ideal candidates will have an apprenticeship in engineering and experience in an offshore O&M environment. This role offers a competitive salary with added benefits and a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off working pattern.

Qualifications

• Completed a full apprenticeship in mechanical, electrical, or control instrumentation engineering.
• Evidence of extensive industry-specific technical training.
• Meet physical and medical requirements for offshore work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise contractors and support routine asset inspections.
• Report and investigate defects and underperformance.
• Prepare, pack, and transport tools and equipment for maintenance.
