Job description

Jobstore is recruiting for an Office Manager with extensive experience in Logistics and Haulage Management to join a niche, exciting, and rapidly growing business based in the North West.

We are seeking a highly organized, confident, and decisive individual to oversee the entire logistics operations in a busy office environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all necessary paperwork, export documentation, and compliance to ensure smooth and efficient truck collections and deliveries across the UK and Europe.

Key skills include strong leadership, excellent communication at all levels, and a calm, professional manner.

You will work with various stakeholders, including drivers, suppliers, and customers, so exceptional communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

The main responsibilities are:

  1. Logistics Coordination: Organizing truck deliveries, scheduling shipments, and tracking deliveries to ensure smooth operations.
  2. Documentation & Compliance: Handling all paperwork, including export documentation, customs requirements, and legal compliance.
  3. Problem-Solving: Quickly resolving delivery delays, documentation issues, or customer concerns.
  4. Operational Efficiency: Improving processes to enhance efficiency and minimize disruptions.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
  • Confidence and decisiveness to make quick decisions under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication skills for dealing with customers, drivers, and stakeholders.
