Fearnleys AS is a major international shipbroking company providing chartering, sale & purchase, and newbuilding contracting services. In addition to our main office in Oslo, we provide shipping services from 13 countries world-wide. The company is a part of the Astrup Fearnley group which is engaged in financial services, offshore rig & supply vessel services, and energy broking. Join our dynamic global team and contribute to an ambitious, growing business!
Fearnleys is seeking a skilled Office & HR Manager to oversee our London office's administrative functions, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and internal policies.

This role will involve cross functional team management support, general operations management, HR administration, insurance and vendor management, and will report to Headquarters (Oslo, Norway).

This position is physically located at our office in London.

What You Will Do:

  • Oversee office and facility maintenance
  • Oversee office administrative activities, ensuring compliance and maintaining records
  • Handle relevant HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, recruitment, HRM system updates, and reporting
  • Coordinate employee mobility related tasks, including foreign employee passes and visas
  • Ensure confidentiality and careful handling of sensitive information
  • Manage local insurance schemes and renewals
  • Liaise with suppliers and manage procurement
  • Plan and prepare the annual administration budget
  • Manage and support local and global events
  • Oversee office security and IT support in coordination with the global IT team
  • Coordinate local audit activities in collaboration with the Global accounting team

What We Are Looking For:

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • High professionalism and confidentiality
  • Confident in working independently and managing diverse tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience in office management. Experience in HR administration and basic bookkeeping a plus
  • A curious and digital person, competent in the Microsoft environment and HRM software
