Job summary

Lockhart Recruitment is partnering with an ambitious business on the outskirts of Exeter to recruit a Customer Service & Sales Consultant. This is a busy, office-based role with a realistic salary of 25,500 - 28,000 DOE plus bonus, Monday to Friday.

You will handle inquiries from start to finish, discuss products, coordinate with suppliers, negotiate costs, manage orders, and ensure timely delivery while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering excellent customer service and building relationships.
• Ability to influence and guide customers without hard-sell tactics.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer enquiries via telephone and email.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and services.
• Build strong customer relationships through outstanding service.
• Identify opportunities to up-sell and add value where appropriate.
• Liaise with suppliers and third-party partners to coordinate deliveries and services.
• Negotiate pricing and secure the best outcomes for customers and the business.
• Manage orders from enquiry through to completion.
• Resolve issues and ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the process.
