Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to management and staff.
  • Answer and direct telephone calls, emails, and general enquiries.
  • Welcome visitors and provide professional front-of-house support.
  • Manage diaries, appointments, meetings, and room bookings.
  • Prepare letters, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems (electronic and paper).
  • Process incoming and outgoing post, correspondence, and deliveries.
  • Order and maintain office supplies, stationery, and equipment.
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, customers, and other contacts.
  • Assist with invoices, purchase orders, expenses, and basic financial administration.
  • Maintain employee, customer, supplier, and company records as appropriate.
  • Support onboarding and other basic HR administration when required.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and company events.
  • Monitor office facilities and report maintenance or equipment issues.
  • Ensure confidential and sensitive information is handled appropriately.
  • Support management and colleagues with ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects.
  • Help maintain an organised, professional, and efficient working environment.
