Job summary

Houlihan Lokey is seeking a 6-month internship in the Financial and Valuation Advisory team at our London office. The role offers hands-on exposure to valuation and transaction assignments across industries, with on-the-job training paralleling first-year analyst exposure.

Ideal candidates are final-year students or recent graduates with strong academic records, a Master’s in finance/economics/accounting/business, and prior investment banking internship experience.

Qualifications

• Must either be in the final year of study or a recent graduate available to work on a full-time basis
• Strong academic track record
• Master’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business will be favourably regarded
• A minimum of one completed internship within investment banking is essential
• Prior experience within a valuation, transaction advisory, or financial opinions practice is strongly preferred
• A solid understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills, evidenced through prior transaction or valuation work
• A demonstrated interest in Investment Banking and Valuation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential
• Additional language skills in German will be favourably regarded
• International experience is also desirable, but not essential
• You must be motivated and have the ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing, demanding, but ultimately rewarding environment

Responsibilities

• You will assist in the preparation of materials for clients, conduct market, industry and company analyses
• You will gain experience in financial modelling, valuation analyses and work as part of a project team
