Job summary

Houlihan Lokey, a leading global investment bank, seeks a Summer Financial Analyst in London to support corporate finance engagements with a sector-focused M&A team. You will work on sell-side and buy-side transactions and on capital raising assignments.

Openings are for penultimate-year students ready to join a fast-paced, high-responsibility program that starts mid-June 2027. A strong foundation in valuation and analytics is required.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year of study at a highly regarded university, completing final assessments in Spring or Summer 2028.
• Some knowledge or understanding of the financial services industry.
• An understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications.
• Strong financial and computer skills.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support corporate finance engagements, primarily in M&A and capital raising assignments.
• Research and analyze financial statements, general economic conditions, industry developments, acquisitions and divestitures.
• Gain exposure to capital raisings and financing structures.
• Work with the transaction team to deliver rigorous, data-driven analyses.
