Job summary

University of Oxford is seeking an experienced Organisational Development (OD) Consultant to join the Learning and Organisational Development (LOD) team in the central People Department. The role offers hybrid working with two anchor office days per week, and a fixed-term contract for 1 year.

You will provide strategic OD advice, lead a portfolio of leadership and people development programmes, and work with senior stakeholders to design, deliver and evaluate interventions that strengthen

Qualifications

• OD consultancy experience across the full consultancy cycle (diagnosis through to design, delivery and evaluation).
• Experience designing and delivering learning and OD interventions, especially leadership development.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills engaging senior stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking with collaborative approach; commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of people development programmes, leadership and management interventions, and change-focused projects.
• Work with key stakeholders to understand organisational needs and design, deliver, and evaluate OD interventions.
• Take end-to-end ownership of selected development programmes; collaborate across LOD and the wider People function to maximise impact.
