Job summary

Freightserve Recruitment is seeking an Oceanfreight Coordinator in Basildon for a well-established freight forwarder. You will manage sea export activities, understand imports/exports, and prioritise your workload within a collaborative team.

Key duties include completing Export and Cross Trade tasks, handling customs declarations, ensuring timely operations, and maintaining communication with the manager and sales team. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years Sea Export experience.
• Knowledge of Sea import or air exports.
• Be able to prioritise own workload but be able to work as part of a team.
• Have excellent communication skills over the telephone and e-mail.
• Have good understanding of processes and procedure.
