WR Logistics is seeking an experienced Ocean Freight Export Coordinator to manage sea freight export and cross-trade shipments, ensuring accurate operations, customs and invoicing whilst building strong customer relationships. The role requires a solid background in sea freight exports and a proactive approach in a fast-paced logistics environment.

• Minimum of two years' sea freight export experience for a UK based freight forwarder.
• Knowledge of sea freight imports would be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes and procedures.
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
• Confident working independently while contributing positively to a team.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Experience with Excel reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including telephone and email correspondence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Manage sea freight export and cross-trade shipments, ensuring all activities are completed accurately and on time.
• Complete all associated financial, legal and invoicing transactions.
• Prepare and complete customs export declarations accurately.
• Ensure all operational activities and shipment documentation are completed within required deadlines.
• Report any amendments to customs declarations to the line manager immediately.
• Maintain accurate records and utilise the operational system effectively.
• Maintain regular communication with the line manager, providing updates on new sales leads and shipment handovers.
• Assist in maintaining and updating departmental SOPs.
• Build and maintain strong customer and internal relationships, providing regular feedback to the line manager.
• Follow up on overdue customer payments in conjunction with the credit control team.
• Communicate quotations to the line manager and sales team, ensuring all quotations are recorded consistently on the system.
• Identify and implement improvements to customer workflows and operational efficiencies.
• Complete export and client invoicing accurately within 48 hours of the final activity.
• Ensure insurance charges are applied correctly and promptly report any insurance claims to the line manager.
• Provide holiday and sickness cover when required.

Ocean Freight Export Coordinator

Our client is looking for an experienced Sea Freight Export Coordinator to join their operations team. You will be responsible for managing export and cross-trade shipments, ensuring all operational, customs and invoicing activities are completed accurately and within deadlines.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in sea freight exports who enjoys working in a fast-paced logistics environment, building customer relationships and contributing to the efficiency of the wider operations team.

Role Overview

Salary: £30,000-£33,500 per annum, depending on experience

Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm, including a one-hour unpaid lunch break (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities
