Logix Recruitment Limited in Solihull is seeking an experienced Ocean Export Operations Coordinator to join an established freight forwarding client. You will coordinate ocean export shipments from start to finish, ensuring high service levels and accurate handling.

You will manage bookings, liaise with shipping lines, prepare export documentation, and provide customers with regular progress updates. The role requires strong organisation, communication, and attention to detail.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Ocean Export Operations Coordinator to join an established freight forwarding business based in Solihull.

The Role

Working as part of the operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating ocean export shipments from start to finish, ensuring customers receive a high level of service and shipments are handled efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing ocean export shipments from booking through to final delivery
• Liaising with customers, shipping lines, overseas agents and other relevant parties
• Preparing and processing export documentation
• Booking cargo with shipping lines and coordinating vessel schedules
• Monitoring shipment progress and providing customers with regular updates
• Handling customer queries and resolving any operational issues
• Ensuring all shipments are processed accurately and within required deadlines
• Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate shipment records
• Working closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth end-to-end service
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within freight forwarding, with a strong understanding of ocean export operations.
