Job summary

Liquid Personnel is recruiting 2 Occupational Therapists for its client’s Adults Community Health & Social Care Team in Mid-Devon. The role focuses on enabling adults to maximise independence in their own homes and community settings through assessments, equipment provision and reablement.

You'll complete home assessments, moving and handling assessments, and collaborate with Social Workers, Health colleagues and other agencies. Travel across Mid-Devon is required.

Qualifications

• OT degree or diploma required.
• Current HCPC registration is mandatory.
• Experience with adults with disabilities desirable.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Complete risk, mental capacity and safeguarding assessments.
• Support individuals to maximise independence.
• Work closely with Social Workers, Health colleagues and other agencies.
• Manage a varied caseload and work across community settings.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Occupational Therapy degree/diploma.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Experience working with adults with disabilities.
• Experience with moving and handling.
• Knowledge of equipment, adaptations and risk assessment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to travel across the Mid-Devon area.
