A NHS Foundation Trust in Upton is seeking a skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join their in-patient therapy team. You will be responsible for assessing and treating patients, mentoring junior staff, and participating in a collaborative clinical environment. This role also involves engagement in training programs and extended service hours. An enhanced DBS check is required and covered by the Trust. We have an exciting opportunity for a senior (band 6) Occupational Therapist to join one of our in‑patient therapy teams at Arrowe Park Hospital. The team has a shared therapy office and works with the care of the elderly consultants and nursing teams for the benefit of the patients. They support activities such as bingo, discos and mocktail events to prevent deconditioning and provide community‑based Home First service and other rehabilitation services.
There are opportunities to engage in training and development, innovative practice and service development. The service also supports student training and apprenticeships.
An enhanced DBS check is required for this role. The Trust will pay for the DBS check and the cost will be deducted from salary over a period of 3 months.
