Job summary

La Fosse is seeking an experienced Observability Engineer to lead and mature its observability capability across infrastructure, platforms, networks and applications within a large-scale transformation program.

You will own the monitoring landscape, develop meaningful dashboards and optimise alerting to drive operational excellence and data-driven decision making across service delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maturing observability across hybrid environments.
• Strong telemetry, alerting, reporting and analytics skills.
• Experience in incident management and RCA.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve enterprise-wide observability capabilities.
• Manage and optimise monitoring, telemetry and alerting platforms.
• Develop dashboards and reporting that provide meaningful operational insights.
• Support incident, problem and major incident processes through effective monitoring and analysis.
• Establish observability standards and best practices across technology teams.
• Drive continuous improvement through trend analysis and service performance data.
• Support service transitions, ensuring observability is embedded from day one.
• Act as the subject matter expert for observability and monitoring technologies.
