Job summary

La Fosse Associates is seeking an Observability Engineer to own the monitoring and telemetry landscape across infrastructure, platforms, networks and applications. You will develop dashboards, optimise alerting and support incident resolution to improve service performance and resilience.

Working with Service Delivery, Infrastructure and Engineering teams, you’ll embed best practices and drive data-driven decisions to mature the observability capability across a large-scale technology estate.

Qualifications

Experience building observability solutions across complex environments.
Strong background in telemetry, metrics, logs and traces.
Ability to design dashboards and reporting for operational insight.
Familiarity with hybrid on-premise and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and continuously improve enterprise-wide observability capabilities.
Manage and optimise monitoring, telemetry and alerting platforms.
Develop dashboards and reporting to provide meaningful operational insights.
Support incident and major incident processes through monitoring and analysis.
Establish observability standards and best practices across teams.
Drive continuous improvement through trend analysis and service performance data.
Support service transitions, embedding observability from day one.
