Job summary

• Experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant in EYFS/Reception.
• Ability to provide one-to-one and small-group support.
• Strong safeguarding and child protection knowledge.
• Eligibility to work in the UK with DBS check.
• Provide suitable references covering recent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored one-to-one and small-group support to meet individual learning and developmental needs.
• Support children's communication, interaction, emotional regulation and social development.
• Assist with classroom activities, early phonics, communication and play-based learning.
• Use a patient, nurturing approach to supporting behaviour and engagement.
• Work with the class teacher and school team to implement targeted support strategies.
• Help maintain a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment.
