Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. in Whalley Range is actively recruiting an experienced Reception SEND Teaching Assistant to join after half term. You will support pupils with SEND in EYFS, delivering tailored 1:1 and small-group support and contributing to a safe, inclusive learning environment.

The role focuses on developing communication, independence and early learning skills, including phonics and play-based learning, while working closely with the class teacher and school team.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND in EYFS/Reception.
• Ability to provide 1:1 and small-group support.
• Strong safeguarding and child protection understanding.
• Right to work in the UK; Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain); provide references.

Responsibilities

• Support development of communication, interaction, emotional regulation and social skills.
• Assist with early phonics and play-based learning.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and wider school team to implement support strategies.
