Prospero Teaching is seeking a Nurture Teacher for a full-time, permanent position in a SEND setting in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on personalised learning to support pupils with ASC, SEMH, ADHD, and complex needs, developing social, emotional and academic skills.

You will plan differentiated lessons, promote emotional wellbeing, and work with families and multidisciplinary teams to foster confidence and resilience in vulnerable learners, within a nurturing school environment.

Qualifications

Are you a passionate and nurturing teacher looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

We are currently working with a highly supportive SEND school seeking a dedicated Nurture Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils who require a personalised approach to learning, helping them develop socially, emotionally, and academically within a safe and nurturing environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in creating positive learning experiences for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), SEMH, ADHD, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs.

The Role

As a Nurture Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes emotional wellbeing.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has experience working within SEND, Alternative Provision, specialist settings, or mainstream education with additional needs.
• Demonstrates a nurturing and trauma-informed approach to teaching.
• Has strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.
• Is patient, resilient, and passionate about supporting vulnerable learners.
• Can build positive and trusting relationships with pupils and colleagues.
